Boom! I have reached “End of Earth”. A lighthouse at the most western point of Europe. The Atlantic Ocean greeted me with gorgeous sunny weather.
I can’t wait to see the sun set into the ocean later from the local beach.
Somehow, my body is always tuned to perform best exactly when needed most. Had a big day of walking without having any serious issues. Super thankful for that. The 700+ km journey has come to an end.
Right now I just wanna grab a massive, well-deserved dinner and spend the next two days chilling in Porto. I just have to go back there to explore, have fun and eventually fly to Estonia.
This journey has been amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been reading the stories. Even you, that are reading them after they happened. Muchas Gracias!!!
Personally, I had a goal that if the guidebook says 27 days from Lisbon to Santiago, then at minimum I would walk at that pace. My secret goal was to reach Finisterre in 27 days. I am so happy to have pulled this off. Seemed so impossible many many times throughout the journey. I never really focused on this number, but it just happened naturally.
My hike has finished now. Until the next Camino!
