Camino Frances day 28: Santa Mariña to Dumbría (22,43km)

Fourth week on the Camino complete. This time 206km travelled in the last seven days. Not much left to go until I am finished.

Today was the section where people who go straight to Finisterre split from those who visit Muxia. Suprisingly, the albergue in Dumbría is full. Usually there should be only 5 pilgrims daily on this trail. I will make bookings for the next few days just in case.

From stories I have heard that while the French trail that I walked before Santiago is emptier than usual, then the other trails are completely full of people. Weird how everyone makes different choices based on outdated information on the internet.

In the middle of the picture, slightly above some of the hills, you can already see the ocean. Tomorrow in Muxia, I will see the vast ocean up close. I can’t see Muxia yet from the image. I assume it is behind the hill on the left.
