Camino via de la Plata day 10: El Carrascalejo to Aluéscar (21.8km)

First thing in the morning was a short walk to the next village of Aljucen. It was much bigger than the village I had stayed in.

From Aljucen the trail turned away from car roads and entered a national park. The whole 19km walk in the park and roads thereafter was going uphill.

I was testing today to get an estimate on the water flooding situation. Even on an uphill trail it was full of tiny water streams on the trail. I spent a lot of time going around water obstacles. I was able to jump over pretty much all of them. Only once today I had to take my shoes off to walk through water.

It rained a few times, but never more than a couple of minutes. Soon the days are warmer, so even if it rains I will feel nicer.

The trail going forward is on completely flat ground. I expect very difficult water obstacles for tomorrow.

Today is the last of Spanish holy week and Easter celebration. Then I can finally eat a warm lunch in a café and do grocery shopping in evenings on all days except Sundays.
