I reached where I left off at sunrise. The week has been mostly melting more of the ice and snow and the roads were easy to walk on now.
From Roobuka until the end of Aespa I could still use pedestrians pathways. From the end of Aespa I needed to be on the car road for about half an hour. I walked to bus stops distance near what usually is a busy road, but since the local grocery stores where not even open yet then it was quieter than usual.
To escape the busy road, I followed the Camino trail towards Vana-Aespa and Sutlema villages. These random village to village roads where cars almost never drive felt like a Camino in Spain.
Sutlema manor park might be the highlight of the day. Arrows showed to go both through the park and around. I went to see the ducks having fun all over the tiny river. At the exit of the park there was an old manor gateway on my right, but I turned left and headed towards the busy road again.
The last walk into Hageri had a safe car free pathway once more. To my luck Hageri church was open Sunday morning. I got my third stamp from there and had another hour left before the next bus would arrive. I was the third person the lady there had given a stamp to. I guess most people just had to pass the nicely renovated church or try their luck with the congregation office building next doors.
I decided to push past Hageri today. For an hour I walked a quite mindless car road going in a straight line to Rabivere. The weather was nice and sunny so that kept the spirits up. About thirty cars that passed me in an hour, so it was not the worst traffic anymore.
I am looking forward to the next adventure. I will go through woods and quiet villages. The bus ride(s) home I got to see more of what is waiting ahead and it was very promising for a pilgrim on foot.
