I DID IT!

I got my certificate of travelling 799km from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago. It was an incredible 27-day journey. So happy not to have had any major injuries along the way. Normal time would have been in 32 days, so I’m very happy about my result.

Today was a looong day. The morning went really fast. It was incredibly fun to see two digit marks at the side of the road go into one digit. Motivation went strong until feet started to slowly give up just around the edge of Santiago.

I made it to see the cathedral from outside. It was raining quite heavily and my feet were tired, so I just went to get my pilgrim certificate. I will have one in the morning and once I return from the very end.

Other than that, I’m just focusing on recovering my feet for tomorrow. Three days of journey until the ocean still await.
